One year after the re-launch of the Lover Valentine Post, the village of Lover is inviting everyone aged 4-100 from the surrounding towns, villages and schools to enter a Valentine card competition.

The competition will ask the public to design a Valentine card for 2018, The winning design will be printed and available on this website for the world to purchase and send to their loved one.

An art exhibition of selected entries will be on show from 10th-14th February 2018 at the Old School Building in Lover.

How to enter

To enter is simple. Draw, colour or paint a picture of ‘What does love mean to you?’ in the heart template available here

Please use plenty of colour and try not to leave too much white space, especially around the edges. You can draw, colour, or paint whatever brings your design to life. Please remember it has to be printed so keep your design flat.

We have included the template below which you can photocopy as many times as you wish.

The competition opens on the 1st January 2018 and you have until the 14th January 2018 to submit your entries.

The winner will be picked by a panel of judges and available to buy online at lover.org.uk from the 1st February 2018.
